i finally got my vietnam photos.
so here's my beloved story about my trip to vietnam :D ok loh-soh time! you dont really have to read this. it just serves as a reminder for me of our trip.

DAY ONE
8 December 08, Monday.
sg airport; siem reap airport, da nang airport, furama resort.
we went to T2 early with our luggage an checked in and blah blah. my mum reminded me to bring the camera charger, so end up, i forgotten to bring the camera and brought the charger. -.- then we had lunch at T3 foodcourt and walked around. and then we boarded the plane. okay marcus and i were psyched 'cause its our -first- time taking the plane. lol. SO WHAT. there's nothing much to see on the plane anyway. its just the taking off and landing that's irritating. haha. but it was fun. of course, i slept, due to numerous trainings of sleeping on the bus. so when it gets sian, my body system shuts down. then i got awaken to eat lunch. and then we landed at siem reap airport. had to wait 45 mins before we can get up the plane again. so yep. we waited. and bought kinder surprise, where we cant find anywhere else in sg now. ): then we boarded the plane again to da nang. oh gosh, sunset on the plane is so damn pretty. then i slept again. sigh. i'm such a pig. and then we reached vietnam! its like, 6plus 7, and its DARK. like, totally.

we took a mini bus to furama resort. the place totally looks deserted after sundown. (i mean, da nang.) at the lobby, they served us dragon fruit juice, in like, a dragonfruit sitting on a chair. like, wow. so cute. haha. and then we had buffet dinner at the restaurant. and we played "be the top banana" for the first time ever. it is SUPERB FUN. we played with mandarin oranges, and cause you have to like, snatch it, it got all squished up and stuff. haha. ;D that concludes the day ;D

DAY TWO
9 December 08, Tuesday
furama resort, hoi an, big C
we woke up and had breakfast at the hotel. its like, free for the adults, and for us kids, (okay i'm still considered a kid) we paid kid price ;D then we took the free shuttle service to the nearby old town, Hoi An. again, i slept on the bus. so dont ask me what i saw. haha. then we reach the carpark and the adults went to walk around. jovan and i ended up staring at tadpoles and he caught one. haha. with his bare hands! walked around and this trishaw guy kept asking us to take up his service. sigh. then we went to a few shops to check the price and stuff. some of the shop owners are SO mean. they shout at you when you dont buy their goods. D: then we walked around to buy stuff. and then we found this tour agency. Ms Yang (the manager) was rather nice and brought us through the back alley to this local restaurant next to her house for lunch. the food is fantastic. (: well. then she brought us to buy cheap lanterns, but we found cheaper ones but what the heck lah. so we went to visit the japanese bridge and an older old town. bought some dragonflies. then we went back to the tour agency to book her packages. they were cheaper than the hotel's anyway.

then we had to find our way back to the parking lot, which was uh, a big trouble cause we have no idea where to go. then we found a map. haha. and walked alot. so we took the shuttle back and had maggie mee in the hotel. jovan and javin went swimming. then we took a taxi to bigC. the weather was damn cold at night manz. and with the blasting boomboxes outside, well. you can guess. the way the taxi u-turned in the middle of the road was well, fascinating. well, they have pratically no traffic lights. and most of the vehicles were motorcycles. so everyone has to horn in order to avoid accidents. haha. ok. back to bigC. jovan got hungry so we went to this ulu ulu "restaurant" for dinner. the food was, uh. well. *coughs* then we went to timezone. helped javin and marcus play "house of the dead 4" when those beggar kids were pratically snatching the guns from us. ugh. at least we reached boss with the nuisance. then we played the basketball thingum. and the drum game! which was when we had many "fans". more like pickpockets D: i wanted to play DDR de lor. stupid.

then we went to this local starbucks, left our bags with uncle and the boys and went to shop at bigC. nothing much actually. very local. and they check your plastic bags when you get out. and you cant bring your bag in. -.- then we went back cause dad was pissed that they dont allow us to go into the bottom level 'cause we're holding a plastic bag of things we bought at the same shop upstairs. then uncle and the guys went to buy snacks.
yep. then we took a taxi back and slept. lol.

DAY THREE
10 December 08, Wednesday
furama resort, marble mountain, my son (mi son), pottery and wood villages, hoi an.
again, we had breakfast at the hotel. we woke up darn early 'cause the tour mini bus came early. sigh. then we went to marble mountain! oh gosh lah, the climb up was, was, was, tough. haha. so steep, and i haven't exactly been exercising. yep. but we finally made it there. the view is exhilarating. we went to this pavillion and saw the whole town, ok, most of it. and then visited the buddhist temple. then we went past heaven cave, and went to this huge cave. inside, got a buddha statue. yep. i dont mind living in the cave eh, reminds me of yang guo and xiao long nv. lol. then we climbed down and looked at this shop selling marble statues. and gave the tour guide tips. then we went for lunch. the food was okay luh, kampong chicken. D: tough sia.

then we went to my son. can you believe it, i paid kid price. -.- btw, my son is read as MI-SON. its this place where there are ancient relics. yep. walked around. its quite cooling even though its in the middle of the day. that's cause the weather is cold. RELICS ARE THE LOVE. i mean, they're so pretty. took loads of photos with aunty's camera. then we had to walk back, which was a long, narrow walk. haha. with nothing much but trees and butterflys. haha.

so after that we went to this river side and took a boat. the uncle drove us to the pottery village. where we saw how they made pots. scary leh. they use their legs to kick the spinning plate. which means if you kena kick by that lady, there goes man. (can you imagine?) then we got free whistles. marcus was happy 'cause he wouldn't want to get those they sell outside. who knew if they blew into it before or not? and then we went to the wood village where they made boats and wood sculptures. we saw this 2 teenage guys carving. and i saw a cow that looks like my uncle :D haha. want to see mah? XD my mum said i was mean luh. then we went back to hoi an.

back at hoi an, we found out that it was the lunar month 14th day, which is something like their lantern festival kind of thing, held monthly. so people sold lanterns and hung 'em up. we had dinner at the "Cargo Club". man the food was good. we ate 1mil worth of food you know. :D 1MIL! haha. then the river flooded. and you could see small kids setting paper lanterns into the water. with candles inside. and they go around asking the same thing, "BUY FOR ME?!" lol. after that, my mum would ALWAYS say that phrase. -.- and we saw this roadside game, where people were given a chance to measure the distance, then blindfolded and try to hit the pots to smash 'em. if they smashed it, they win a small prize! (maybe i should suggest taht for YDFF next year) then we went back to the tour agency and too the mini bus back.

DAY FOUR
11th December 08, Thursday
furama, cloudy pass, hue
had to wake up early again and had breakfast at the hotel (quite sian already) then we went to cloudy pass! its like, all the way up this mountian, like cameron, but colder. wow. it was so bloody cold. wear berms go there freeze only. but it rained so we couldn't touch the clouds D: but we got photos anyway. then we went on to hue. had lunch at this place, the food was not bad.

went to their imperial city. it was EXPENSIVE. sigh. and not much i guess. most of it is burnt off and they replaced them and now it looks fake. and they added lame-o stuff. yep. but we still took photos. then we went to the hue market. it was tourism-a-lised. most of the things they kai kou USD. sigh. and they sold lots of shoes. like, really. bought dragonflies for squadmates.

then we went to the summer palace of the 4th king, also his tomb. it was better than the imperial city. much prettier, much older.couldn't take much photos though, we have to respect the king. (or so i say) haha. there lies the 4th emperor, his empress, and his adopted son. and his autobiography. and ancestrial tablets. we left after covering almost the whole area. it was closing soon anyway. which is a good thing cause like this, people wont come after us to ask us to buy stuff ;D
so we went back and had maggie mee for dinner. we had to finish them off anyway.

DAY FIVE
12 December 08, Friday
furama resort, china beach, han market, com market, bigC, club tourane
this was free and easy day. so we woke up slightly later than usual. went for breakfast and saw another sg family! haha. abit what hor, they wore shorts etc down and hotel slippers. and we wore nice clothes ;D haha. *hao lian* then we went to the beach. gosh, those waves were, according to marcus, NARLY. and we saw this angmo trying to surf. cool man. those waves you'll never see in sg, or else got tsunami le. choy choy choy. and the water was superb cold manz. played at the swing then saw Jovan catch a crabbb. then we went to play at the beach ;D okay, i took pictures. loads of pictures.

then we went back to wash up and went to the local market via taxi, han market. it was better than hue market, much cleaner. we bought some local snacks and went to walk on to bigC. passed by certain shops and com market where i bought a custard apple :D. then we went to bigC (ON FOOT) and had their local KFC, Lotteria or something. not bad eh! and it was less noisy and cold. haha.

then we went back to the hotel. went to club tourane and played billiard and table tennis. haha. the place was closed but wth. (: they have drums there too! the one we had for 24-drums ensemble. took 10mins to practice what i've learnt and screwed up :D

then they had the xmas lighting ceremony cum cocktial party. mainly, they served drinks, we chat, they light up the tree, they sing xmas carols, they serve finger food. then we left and had our maggie mee. (:
and after that was of course, the top banana. :D

DAY SIX
13 December 08, Saturday
furama resort, hoi an, marble mountain, china beach, da nang airport, sg airport
last day at Da Nang. had breakfast at hotel and saw the sg family again. then we caught the shuttle service to hoi an to walk around again and to ask Ms Yang if we can have a package that takes us to marble mountain and back to furama and then to the airport. i regretted wearing long pants. no wait, we should blame the weather. the past few days were so darn cold and stuff, and that day was so darn hot. D: went to marble mountain, but this time, we went to this cave which is something like 18levels of hell kind of thing. must pay luh. walk in and you see the judgement area. then walk down, you see punishments. jovan was frightened, so we quickly covered the area. then we went up. we thought the way up was out, so we mian qiang climb all the way up. so steep and so high. then we found out that we have to climb down. LOL. i was out of breath le. ): i almost fell. haha. imagine if i fell. i would tou po xue liu already.

then we went for lunch. the driver took us to this, 4U beach restaurant place. the food was okay luh. love the fried spring rolls. then we went back to furama. i stoned at the lobby while jovan, javin, and marc went to play pool. i didn't know they went lah D:

then we went to the airport. like, totally nothing to do after you check in lei. so we went to sit at one table and played top banana. just the 4 kids. (: and we saw the other sg family i was talking about. lawl. my mum says they're not friendly D: saw the mum in the toilet and she just dao and walk away. aw. heck lah.
took the airplane back. the angmo sitting near us wore newspaper hats. haha. SO COOL. i wanted one too. aww. haha. that's it. ;D

but problems cropped up and i got so pissed at it.

i dragged myself out of bed and went to act! :D
and i must say, it was superb fun.

haha. 815secs was our nicest pitch ever :D the 12min one, peg abit funny, upper pole face wrong.

and i grazed both knees. a little bit. NO PROBLEMO.

i went for pluto's outing today. we went bowling. and it's the FIRST time i ever bowled. not bad liao, compared to SOMEONE. (i think it's Bryan. but they changed his name to BingBongBall) haha. the way he bowls is SOOOOO FUNNY. hahahaha. okay lah. not so bad. he beat me anyway. 'cause i played 1 less round. ;X bowling is officially fun. but pool is fun too. but i'd rather bowl anyday. even though it means gutter everyround ;D went for lunch with squadmates (glenda, peiting, caoji) and then we went home.

after i came home, i audi-ed and...
I GOT CAUGHT IN AUDI DRAMA.
yes. its such a sad thing.
i've got this di. and this friend. i've matchmaked them together yesterday. so now that friend of mine is my mei. then, today she came to find me. and i was playing with my ahgong. so now my ahgong's her ahgong. and my ahgong wants to be my kor instead. so now he's her kor too.
and then.
deng deng deng, DENG.
i feel SAD. okay, maybe not sad, angry. according to xuan, i'm jealous. but wth.
suddenly i've got this feeling that i'm being left out.
last time club, i always partner my di when he play with me. then now, he with her le. and i felt like dian deng pao when playing with them. sigh. then, now, she keep partnering with my newly found kor who used to be my ahgong. SIGH. if she happens to read this post, i know i'm wrong for saying this and we'll feel akward further on, but please, no offence.
so now i shall commit myself to -iXuan- . <3 xuan. haha. jk-ing. i'm no lesbian.

i'm back from vietnam. (since 13th)
but my mum says i shouldn't blog about the trip until i got the photos from aunty jo 'cause after that it would be more effective and easier to boast about what a good time i had during the trip. :D
